John started his career in the construction fixings industry, developing customised cladding systems. He was involved in the original development of many commonly encountered support and restraint components, and maintains an active interest in the sector.
He joined the board of Harrison Goldman in 1998 to enhance the ability of the company to offer concise structural solutions to complex cladding configurations, and is directly involved in the design and specification of support structures for interior and external cladding. These include brick and block masonry, secondary steelwork and pre-stressing systems.
John undertakes the interpretation of cladding failures, and the provision of independent design analysis of cladding fixing systems. He is responsible for the design of cladding and fixings on major contracts.
